Indiana men’s basketball’s 2026-27 conference schedule was released on the Big Ten Network’s B1G Live on Wednesday. The Hoosiers are slated to kick off conference play against Rutgers on Dec. 1 at home.
The conference schedule includes 10 games at Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall in Bloomington and 10 games away from home.
Indiana’s nonconference slate was released Aug. 25 and includes 12 games — five of those being against power conference opponents. The Hoosiers will begin their 2026-27 season against Eastern Illinois University on Nov. 2 in Bloomington.
Big Ten Tournament
The 2027 Big Ten Men’s Basketball Tournament will be played from March 9-14 at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis.
Under first-year head coach Darian DeVries, Indiana finished last season 18-14 overall and 9-11 in the conference. After missing the NCAA Tournament for a third consecutive year, the Hoosiers will look to snap that streak this season.
Prior to the season opener on Nov. 2, Indiana will compete in three exhibition games. The Hoosiers will first face Butler University on Oct. 11 at Hinkle Fieldhouse in Indianapolis. Then Indiana will compete against the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill on Oct. 18 in Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis and Western Kentucky University on Oct. 25 in Evansville, Indiana.
