The 2023-24 IU men's basketball team finished the season 19-14 overall, going 10-10 in Big Ten conference play. In that same season, then-redshirted senior guard Xavier Johnson played 20 games, averaging 7.6 points, 2.8 assists and 2.6 rebounds per game. Johnson went undrafted in the 2024 NBA draft and now plays for the Memphis Hustle of the NBA G-League, where averages 7.2 points per game on 32.9% from the field.
