INDIANAPOLIS — Indiana women’s basketball’s loss to Butler University unfolded with a story all too familiar to the Hoosiers’ first two games of the season: turnovers, mistakes from veterans and a lack of physicality.
After Indiana volleyball took two top 25 losses at Wilkinson Hall to then-No. 9 Purdue on Nov. 8 and then-No. 20 USC on Sunday, the Hoosiers travel to Iowa on Thursday and No. 2 Nebraska on Saturday.

Picture this: It’s a beautiful day outside. Your classes have been going well and you were able to spend time with your friends and relax. It’s a good day. All of a sudden, you get a notification saying your grade for that one exam was posted. You open the Canvas app to find that you didn’t get the grade you were hoping for, and now your day is ruined. You let all those feelings of happiness and fun float away to be replaced with bitterness and disappointment. Sound familiar? I’ve been in this situation multiple times before, and it is definitely not fun.

Charity Hall, a Bloomington resident, was sentenced Wednesday to 15 years in prison after pleading guilty to two felony charges Sept. 25. After a successful beginning to the season last weekend, Indiana Wrestling sent a group of nine wrestlers to compete at the Michigan State Open on Nov. 9. After over two years of delays, the Monroe County Council on Tuesday approved the $11.375 million purchase of property for a new justice complex, including a new county jail and court space. The council approved the purchase in a 5-1 vote.
