Indiana football’s first seven games of the season were filled with electricity and an unmatched buzz on campus. That buzz, or “rat poison” as Indiana head coach Curt Cignetti calls it, grew astronomically Oct. 20 when it was announced that ESPN’s College GameDay would be in Bloomington on Saturday.
When sixth-year senior quarterback Kurtis Rourke injured his thumb in a game against Nebraska on Oct. 19, Indiana football had no issues without Rourke in the second half.

LOS ANGELES — There was less than a minute left. Most of the players on Indiana men’s soccer were out of stamina, evident through their little jogs and crouched postures.
Tensions grew higher with each passing minute.
In a season full of history, Indiana football will add another accomplishment to its resume Saturday: hosting ESPN’s College GameDay, the sport’s premier pregame television show.
Saturday, Oct. 26, will be “Coach Lee Corso Day” in Bloomington.
Indiana moves to 9-10 on the season
About an hour before the match, Indiana volleyball stepped onto the court for pregame stretches in a nearly empty Wilkinson Hall. As the Hoosiers made their way out one by one, junior outside hitter Avry Tatum and senior setter Camryn Haworth were the last to emerge.
The Indiana club sailing team won their first regatta of the year, bringing home first place in the Rebecca ‘Becky’ Blank Regatta, winning the competition for the first team in the team’s history.
The song seems the same every year, albeit with a slightly different tune.
