Following a two-week road trip, the Hoosiers returned to Andy Mohr Field for a matchup against Ball State University on Wednesday, with the seats filled in anticipation for Indiana softball’s final non-conference regular season game. The home crowd energized senior pitcher and utility player Brianna Copeland to a shutout performance in the circle as the Hoosiers secured a 14-1 victory.

A trio of cyclists stayed close together in a pack, moving into a line one after another on each turn. Each rider took a turn moving to the front of the group to bear more of the wind. The group yelled “inside” as they flew past other riders, leaning low over their handlebars. When their faster set was over, they slowed down, moved to the edge of the track to pedal through the recovery set. As they rode leisurely, the detailing on their black kits was fully visible. Each had multi-colored accent stripes and letters spelling “Delta Gamma” across the front.

Indiana Lt. Gov. Micah Beckwith was supposed to come to Bloomington for a public town hall April 28. Now, six days before his town hall was set to take place, Beckwith delayed the event until 6 p.m. May 19 and moved it to Ellettsville Town Hall, according to an X post Tuesday.
