Indiana Lt. Gov. Micah Beckwith was supposed to come to Bloomington for a public town hall April 28. Now, six days before his town hall was set to take place, Beckwith delayed the event until 6 p.m. May 19 and moved it to Ellettsville Town Hall, according to an X post Tuesday.

Indiana baseball (22-18, 12-9 Big Ten) picked up its third series win last weekend at Bart Kaufman Field over Maryland. After taking two of three over the Terps, the Hoosiers are set to travel to one of the finer baseball sites in the state of Indiana as they take on Ball State University (29-12, 15-3 MAC) on Wednesday at Victory Field in Indianapolis.

In early February, the Indiana Daily Student received a guest column based on financial documents obtained in a records request from IU. In addition to our typical process of editing and fact-checking, the IDS requested the same documents from IU to verify them. The request asked for investment snapshots from IU, the IU Foundation, IU Ventures or other investment-holding entities affiliated with the university for the last two available years. The documents the IDS received are not IU Foundation documents because the foundation is considered a separate entity from IU, according to IU General Counsel.

Indiana women’s basketball landed another player out of the transfer portal Monday, as former Duquesne University guard Jerni Kiaku committed to the Hoosiers, according to her Instagram post. Kaiku originally entered the portal April 3 and has one season of eligibility left.
