2012-13 Big Ten basketball power Rankings

·

1. Indiana The Hoosiers find themselves at the top of almost every preseason poll on the national level, and the same is true in the Big Ten. IU returns every player who scored against Kentucky in the 102-90 Sweet Sixteen loss. Column: Problems with the 2012 NCAA Tournament

With ‘The Movement” on its way, questions remain for Indiana basketball next season

·

After returning just 32 points to the roster four years ago, IU will bring back all five starters and 85 percent of its starting lineup next season. Based off those numbers, the answer to this question would seem like a pretty obvious “No.” However, IU Coach Tom Crean is bringing in a top-five recruiting class with multiple players ranked in the top 50 by various news organizations.

Louisville set for Kentucky rematch

·

Kentucky played like Kentucky. Despite No. 4 IU’s 90 points — Kentucky’s worst defensive output of the season — the Wildcats still pulled out the 12-point win.
