'Camp Crean' Closes

Students will no longer be allowed to wait outside of Assembly Hall overnight for GA seats to the men’s basketball game against No. 1 Kentucky on Saturday, according to an IU Athletics press release.

“IUPD informed us that it is an IU policy not to allow tents/camping on IU property. IUPD will notify the ‘campers’ that they are welcome to stand or sit in line for the next four days but the use of tents is prohibited," according to IU Athletics.

Daryl Thomas stood alongside his teammates during halftime of IU’s 84-50 victory against Stetson on Sunday in a line at half court without their curmudgeon of a head coach. The cheers during that 25th anniversary ceremony were the loudest of the game up to that point.

IU to face test at Georgia Invitational

In its last meet of the 2011 portion of the season, the IU swimming and diving team will travel to Athens, Ga., this weekend as the Hoosiers participate in the Georgia Invitational, one of the toughest meets in the nation this early in the season.
