A 29-year-old female reported being struck in the face and held against the wall by her husband around 1:30 a.m. July 13, BPD said.

Fight breaks out at Dunnkirk

A 32-year-old male was struck in the face by an unknown male and had bruising, scratches and complained of pain around 3 a.m. Saturday night. Employees were also struck when trying to break up the fight.

Employee arrested for stealing handguns

Connor David Alexander Lappin, 21, was arrested for reportedly stealing three semi-automatic handguns from Bloomington Home & Personal Security Store.

Rape reported at Willkie Quad

A rape was reported July 7 to the IU Police Department, Lt. William C. Munroe said. The incident occurred July 3 and is an ongoing investigation.

Police responded to the area of Nancy Street and Hillside Drive in reference to a personal injury accident where an 8-year-old boy was struck by a 2008 Hyundai Santa Fe after getting off a city bus with his mother and her friend.

Woman reports rape at mental health facility
