Women's golf exits postseason after finishing 18th

The team had said since the start of the season that it wanted to get to Athens, Ga. and compete for a national championship. That didn’t pan out, as the team finished 18th in the NCAA Central Regional Saturday in Norman, Okla. with a final tally of 911 over 54 holes at the Jimmie Austin OU Golf Club.

Hoosiers eye advance in NCAA tournament

After failing to make the NCAA Tournament in 2011 and 2012, the Hoosiers are back with a berth in the NCAA Central Region in Norman, Okla., with the goal of ending up in Athens, Ga., for a shot at the National Championship.

IU men's golf will begin their postseason with the Big Ten Championship this weekend at the Pete Dye Course in French Lick, Ind.

The IU men's golf team has played its last match until February, but with the held of IU Strength and Conditioning Coach Je'Ney Jackson, the Hoosiers are working in the weight room to improve in the off season.

After standing in ninth place after the first two rounds, the IU men's golf team finished sixth in the Warrior-Wave Intercollegiate Wednesday after shooting the team's lowest single-round score of the season.

Charity golf outing moved to September

The annual Tee Up Against Cancer Golf Outing has been rescheduled for Wednesday, September 12, after originally being scheduled for early July, outing co-chairs Phyllis Davidson and Betty Nelson announced Friday.

Former IU Assistant Men’s Golf Coach Jamie Broce was named head men’s golf coach at the University of Toledo, Rockets Athletic Director Mike O’Brien announced Tuesday.

Golfers shoot for victory in Ohio

The Hoosiers sat in third place after three rounds of play at their home course April 8, with an aura of disappointment when Northwestern took the team title. Lessons were learned in the squad’s first stroke-play event of the spring, which will be followed by the Robert Kepler Intercollegiate on Saturday and Sunday.

IU places 7th in Insperity Lady Jaguar Intercollegiate

Traveling to the city of the Masters for the PGA Tour, the IU women’s golf team ventured to Augusta, Ga., for the Insperity Lady Jaguar Intercollegiate.The squad placed seventh in the 54-hole stroke play event at Forest Hills Golf Club.
