IDS wins two ACP Pacemaker awards, Cohen awarded Reporter of the Year
The fair gives students the opportunity to explore their housing options for the next school year.

Emily Isaacman was selected as the ICPA Brook Baker Collegiate Journalist of the Year.
The junior has worked at the Indiana Daily Student for the past four semesters.
The awards include a first place finish for Matt Cohen’s “IU’s great big COVID-19 experiment.”
Junior Colin Kulpa will serve as the editor-in-chief at the IDS this fall.
The honors included the Online and Newspaper Pacemaker awards, two of the most prestigious awards in collegiate journalism.
The winners of the awards will be announced this week at the Fall National Media Convention.
The yearbook will not be published due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The newspaper will be back in print starting Aug. 20.
The Black Voices section will uplift Black stories across the IU community.
The new partnership will help local nonprofits raise money more effectively.
Anders placed second in last year’s championship.
Junior Caroline Anders placed fourth.
The awards included first place in Division I Newspaper of the Year.
The junior has worked on both the print and digital side of the IDS.
The sophomore is serving as IDS creative director.
The newspaper also won six College Media Association Apple Awards.
