COLUMN: Indiana should re-examine its needle exchange programs

Cases around the world have proven that state-funded needle exchange programs are effective and successful at preventing the transmission of HIV/AIDS and leading drug users to other treatment options. Thus, in response to Indiana's own HIV outbreak, the state should fund a similar program.

On Monday night in Manchester, England, at least 22 people were confirmed dead and many more were injured due to explosions in the crowd of an Ariana Grande concert.  The event caused widespread panic – not just in Manchester, but all over the world – as people feared that their loved ones might be injured or missing.

COLUMN: Texas passes unjustifiable abortion legislation

The Texas State Legislature passed legislation requiring cremation or burial services for fetal remains, prohibiting second-term abortions and banning the donation of fetal tissue for medical research. The author criticizes the legislation as an assault on women's dignity and their ability to decide their own futures, calling the bill "offensive" and "unjustifiable."
