Mummies to rock the Bluebird

Fresh from the tomb, wrapped in bandages and ready to rock, Here Come the Mummies is playing March 14 at the Bluebird Nightclub. The band from Nashville, Tenn., is touring with its new EP, “A La Mode.”

The concept of nothing is one of the central themes in the theater department’s production of “King Lear, ” which premieres at Ruth N. Halls Theatre.

Jacobs to premiere H.M.S. Pinafore

Jacobs School of Music and the Musical Arts Center will premiere “H.M.S. Pinafore,” an opera set on a British cruise liner, 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday.

Apache Relay to play tonight at the Bishop

The Apache Relay will perform at 9:30 tonight, along with the Lonely Wild and Promised Land Sound, at the Bishop. Tickets are $12 and anyone 18 or older can attend with an ID.
