Coming back from a successful spring break, IU’s rowing team competed against the No. 20 Louisville Cardinals at Lake Lemon Saturday. With the wind and rain pushing the rowers to their limits, IU placed second in the varsity eight race, which is considered the most prestigious, but won the varsity four.

RALEIGH, N.C. – For the past month, IU interim men’s basketball coach Dan Dakich has said he’s just too busy to think about the situation that has engulfed his alma mater.
A season marked by youth and inconsistency came to an end for the IU women’s basketball team Saturday night at the hands of visiting James Madison. More specifically, the Hoosiers were derailed by two guards, senior Tamera Young and freshman Dawn Evans, who combined for 68 points in the Dukes’ 86-81 overtime win at Assembly Hall.

The No. 15 women’s water polo team (10-11) will face No. 16 Hartwick (11-7) in its first home game this season. Coming off of a three-game losing streak, a so-called “home field advantage” could be exactly what the Hoosiers need.
