In a game that saw the IU men’s basketball team shoot below 70 percent from the free throw line, sophomore guard Kevin “Yogi” Ferrell iced Indiana’s 56-46 win against Illinois.

Hoosiers get revenge against Illinois

With a 56-46 victory at Assembly Hall Sunday, the IU men's basketball team (13-7, 3-4) took revenge against Illinois (13-8, 2-6) for its overtime loss in Champaign, Ill. on Dec. 31.

The Hoosiers will take on Virginia Saturday following their victory over Samford on Friday. The winner will advance to the ITA National Team Indoor Championships.

Track and field invitational begins Friday

The annual Gladstein Invitational begins Friday at Harry Gladstein Fieldhouse, one of the nation’s top-ranked sports facilities and home to IU indoor track and field.

Men's tennis to face Samford

Starting on Friday the 56th ranked Hoosiers will begin competing in Charlottesville, Va. in an ITA kickoff event. The other schools competing in this will be the 65th ranked Samford Bulldogs, the 46th ranked Elon Phoenix and the defending national champions and top ranked Virginia Cavaliers.
