IU looks for first Big Ten win against Michigan

The IU field hockey team will be back in action this weekend, defending its home field with two games in Bloomington. This Friday the Hoosiers are hosts to their in-conference rival the No. 15 Michigan Wolverines. Then, on Sunday, IU will face the Villanova Wildcats.

Sinclair displays leadership for young team

For IU women’s basketball senior forward Aulani Sinclair, the free-throw mechanics have long been locked in. But as a junior last season, Sinclair shot 90.7 percent from the line, a nearly 20 percent increase from the year before.

Burneski spends summer golfing with NCAA All-Stars

This past summer, IU women's golf senior Pamela Burneski spent three weeks traveling Asia, playing among a group of the NCAA's All-Star Golf Team, as the 10 student-athletes played some of the most exclusive courses in Japan, South Korea and Hong Kong.

Women's club soccer exceeds expectations

Although the team returns only nine players and has a first-year head coach, the IU women's club soccer team has found success this year with students who gave up on a career in college soccer, but still had desire to play the game.

This year, the IU men's golf team returns three starters who have played a combined 280 rounds of golf for the Hoosiers, and the team hopes that the experience from these two seniors and junior can help ensure success.

IU (9-12, 1-8) took down No. 17 Purdue (14-6, 5-4) in four sets Tuesday to grab its first Big Ten victory of the season.

Perry claims victory at Earl Yestingsmeier Invitational

It took four years and 21 rounds of golf for senior Kyle Perry to win his first collegiate golf tournament, but he bested the field Monday and Tuesday at the Earl Yestingsmeier Invitational at Delaware Country Club by four strokes.

Bob Knight to sell old championship hardware

After leading the IU men’s basketball team to three national titles in 1976, 1981 and 1987 as well as coaching the USA team that won Olympic gold in 1984, former IU Coach Bob Knight has decided to sell several pieces of hardware to raise money for his grandchildrens’ college funds.
