Even though the IU women's volleyball team had the smallest amount of spectators in 2011 throughout the Big Ten, relative to the team's performance, the Hoosier fan base is one of the best in the conference.

Women's golf finishes 7th in McGuire Invitational

After posting a third round score of 296, the Indiana women’s golf team finished in seventh place with a score of 896 in the Branch Law Firm/Dick McGuire Invitational at the University of New Mexico Championship Golf Course.

Sudfeld named Freshman of the Week

After filling in for the injured starting quarterback sophomore Cameron Coffman, true freshman Nate Sudfeld led the Hoosiers on a fourth quarter comeback and was named co-Big Ten Freshman of the Week Monday.

The IU men and women’s cross country teams both received the top prize this weekend at the Indiana Intercollegiates meet at the LaVern Gibson Championship Cross Country Course in Terre Haute.

Despite what seemed like a magical comeback for IU during Saturday’s game against Ball State, scoring 14 points in less than three minutes to take a late fourth-quarter lead, the Cardinals hit a last-second field goal to steal the win from the Hoosiers, 41-39.
