Bbehind the sophomore forward Will Sheehey's subdued demeanor is a blossoming talent that led all IU scorers with 18 points in the Hoosiers’ 90-72 exhibition win against the University of Indianapolis.

Offensive outburst propels IU

The Hoosiers won their first and only exhibition game, defeating the University of Indianapolis, 90-72, Saturday  at Assembly Hall. IU was aided by a 50-point outburst in the first half, that allowed IU a double-digit lead the entire second half.

IU loses to Ohio State, 34-20

The Hoosiers entered Ohio Stadium as 28-point underdogs and left just short of beating the Buckeyes for the first time since 1988. True freshman quarterback Tre Roberson threw an interception in the final minutes as IU trailed 27-20, which led to a Buckeye touchdown drive to make it 34-20, which stood as the final score.

IU looks to avoid exhibition upset

Now, for the third consecutive season, the University of Indianapolis looks to knock off a Division I opponent when it heads to Bloomington this Saturday evening to take on IU in the Hoosiers’ only exhibition game of 2011.
