IU junior wide receiver Tandon Doss earned All-Big Ten honors Monday. He was voted to the All-Big Ten first team by the coaches and to the second team by the media.

The senior wide receiver lost two fumbles Saturday that led to Purdue touchdowns but rebounded with crucial catches on IU scoring drives and finished with a career-high 10 receptions for 100 yards.

Women's basketball dominates boards in 66-56 win

Fueled by senior guard Jori Davis’ 18 second-half points, the Hoosiers gained their largest lead of the game with 5:46 remaining and were able to hold on to record their third victory of the season.

The Hoosiers improved to 6-0 in dual meets this season by sweeping opponents North Carolina-Greensboro, Old Dominion and Northern Illinois on Saturday.




Lynch fired after 4 years as head coach

IU football coach Bill Lynch will not be retained as football coach, athletics director Fred Glass announced Sunday. The decision came a day after the Hoosiers ended their 2010 season with a 34-31 overtime victory against rival Purdue in West Lafayette.

In some sense, five November wins for this IU basketball team shouldn't be much of a surprise. Anything less would be, well, a disappointment. But in the perspective of where this program came from - and where it's headed - a 5-0 record shows progress.

Hulls lifts IU past NCCU in 72-56 win

Sophomore guard Jordan Hulls gave life to an otherwise dormant IU offense with 15 points on 5-of-6 shooting in a 72-56 victory against North Carolina Central. The Hoosiers are now 5-0 for the first time since the 2002-03 season.
