Having lost six straight games in the Big Ten, the IU women’s soccer team is looking for some comfort from Sunday’s trip to Iowa City, Iowa, during which the Hoosiers (4-10-1, 0-6) will play Iowa, which is also looking for its first Big Ten win.

As the Hoosiers prepare for a trip to East Lansing, Mich. to take on No. 9 Michigan State, IU will be able to do something Saturday it has not yet accomplished this season: Defend a three-game winning streak.

Two runners reflect on weekly award

On Tuesday, two runners from the IU cross country teams, Ben Hubers and Sarah Pease, were rewarded for their accomplishments from the weekend at the Chile Pepper Cross Country Festival in Fayetteville, Ark. They were both named Big Ten Runners of the Week.

Quarterback Chappell recalls humbling visit to Champaign

Ben Chappell vividly remembers his first start in an IU uniform. The quarterback was just a sophomore in 2008 when the Hoosiers traveled to Champaign, Ill. for their fourth Big Ten game of the season. The Hoosiers, then on a four-game losing streak, took the field as a 2-4 team.

Swimming and diving head coach Ray Looze said last season was a good year for both the men and women’s team. Friday both teams start their dual meet season.

Men's soccer takes conference lead on the road

It is back to Big Ten play Sunday and back to another chance for the IU men’s soccer team to get back to its recent winning ways. The Hoosiers travel to Michigan State and will try to pull one game closer to a Big Ten regular season title in East Lansing, Mich.
