Celebrating on the court is often frowned upon by coaches in sports. Athletes are taught to forget about a play, be it good or bad, and move on with the game. In tennis, however, celebrating is a very important aspect of the game, and coaches encourage it.

The decisive win the IU women’s swimming and diving team had been looking for all year could not have come at a better time. The No. 14 Hoosiers became back-to-back Big Ten Champions on Saturday, finishing 185.5 points ahead of second-place Minnesota.

IU women's tennis upsets No. 10 Tennessee

She was there for the 0-7 loss in 2007, the 3-4 decision in 2008 and another 0-7 defeat last year. In her time at IU, senior captain Lindsey Stuckey had never been on the winning side of the Hoosiers’ annual tilt with the Tennessee Lady Vols. That changed Sunday.

Women swimmers repeat as Big Ten champs

Powered by seniors Kate Fesenko and Donna Smailis, the IU women's swimming and diving team repeated as Big Ten champions with 758 points, 185.5 more than second-place Minnesota.
