The University and former men’s basketball coach Kelvin Sampson presented their cases to the NCAA Committee on Infractions last Friday and Saturday at Seattle’s Hotel Deca.

Nearly a year after the initial self-investigation into alleged impermissible phone calls made by the men’s basketball staff, the University and former coach Kelvin Sampson will defend themselves in front of the NCAA Committee on Infractions in Seattle Friday and Saturday.

Crawford to leave Hoosiers

Jordan Crawford decided to transfer from IU Wednesday, making him the 11th player to leave the program since the end of last season.

The great shake-up

Hoosier fans will be reaching for their programs when basketball season tips off in November. Only three players – sophomore walk-on guard Brett Finkelmeier, sophomore guard Jordan Crawford and senior forward Kyle Taber – will return from the 2007-2008 team after a series of well-documented shake-ups resulted in a coaching change for the Hoosiers.
