At IU and across the nation, the difference between men’s and women’s basketball is clear. The women’s brand of basketball lags behind in the ticket office and television ratings. Last season, IU ranked ninth in the Big Ten for average attendance at home women’s basketball games.

Women's basketball upsets No. 24 Nebraska

The Hoosiers (5-3) rode a 40-32 rebounding advantage, including a 17-10 edge in offensive boards, and senior guard Jori Davis' 21 points to hand the Cornhuskers (6-1) their first loss of the 2010-11 campaign.

Women’s basketball defeats Clemson, 65-51

Senior guard Jori Davis and sophomore forward Aulani Sinclair scored 17 and 15 points, respectively, to lead the IU women’s basketball team to a 65-51 win against Clemson on Thursday in Clemson, S.C.
