Hoosiers face mirror image in today's matchup

The IU women’s basketball team spent the past few weeks scrimmaging itself before its 108-54 win against Lambuth. Now, the Hoosiers get another opportunity to face themselves in today’s exhibition game against Grand Valley State.

The Lambuth University Eagles were the 2006-07 NAIA National Champions and made it to the Sweet Sixteen in the following season, but that didn’t stop the Hoosiers from dominating them in their first exhibition match Sunday.

Indiana women set NCAA bid as this season's goal

Indiana couldn't get a break this offseason. After missing the NCAA tournament, three starters graduated. This fall, sophomore forward Lindsay Enterline tore the anterior cruciate ligament in her right knee. Now, coach Felisha Legette-Jack and the Hoosiers are back in Bloomington, plotting more fun.

The Hoosiers are ready to come out of their summer hibernation and open up the 2009-10 season this weekend.

Former Hoosier forward Amber Jackson is now set to take on Spain. She recently signed a one-year contract to play professional basketball for Club Baloncesto Arxil. Many of her teammates have also continued on in sports.

The IU women’s basketball team members are still a bit jet-lagged from their 10-day excursion in Italy, where they managed to win four games while touring the country’s landmarks.
